3 Additional Game Ideas for Your Game Room

You’ve already acquired an air hockey table, a foosball table, and a dart board, but you still want to add a game or two to your game room. Here are a few additional ideas that fit well and can help entertain family and friends in another area of your game room.

Shuffleboard

If you already have a few table games and want to add another, then shuffleboard might be a good way to go. Like pool shuffleboard is primarily a bar game. My suggestions is if you go looking for pool tables for sale, look at your options of other table games including shuffleboard. These options will take up a good amount of space, but a shuffleboard can be placed against a wall whereas a pool table must go roughly in the center of the room. A pool table needs to have space on all sides, whereas a shuffleboard really only needs space on each end. Also shuffleboards are great to play upon with multiple people. If you absolutely must have a pool table think about an outdoor pool table and place it in your garage or patio if you have room.

Video Game Console

If you have a television in your game room, and I hope that you do, then add a video game console. An Xbox, PS3, or Wii is a great addition for your game room. You and your buddies can have competitive games of Madden football or play call of duty online against thousands of other people. It’s also a great way to entertain your kids while you and your buddies play poker.

Board Games and Card Games

Don’t forget about the games that have been around for decades. Board games like Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Sorry, and 100′s of other board games are a welcome addition to any game room. They are great for a family night, as well as playing with a group of friends. Really no game room is complete without a few decks of cards. If you’ve never played Spades, Hearts, or Euchre then you are missing out.   There are also plenty of great Rummy games that you can play. Don’t forget to add Uno to your choices. Uno is another fun card game that’s great for the whole family to play.
