Puppy pens are great for restricting the movement of a hyper puppy until you have house  trained your furry friend.   In addition, they are great for safety reasons.  They represent a safe place to leave your puppy while you are busy doing other stuff like household chores, cooking, cleaning, etc.  It’s safe for both you and your pooch as you can go about your household activity and not worry about what your dog is doing while your back is turned.  No more chewed shoes or furniture while you attend to your children.  No more running and jumping on the furniture by your dog.  No more burrowing in your carpets while you try to vacuum.  No more incessant licking while cooking in the kitchen.  No more chasing after the other animals in your house like cats.  No more tempting to knock the bird cage off the ledge.  All this stuff is especially useful when your are house training your dog for acceptable and unacceptable behaviors.

Puppy pens also provide a great area for exercise for your growing dog.  When you get an outside model, the safety advantages are numerous.  You don’t have to worry about your dog running off and getting killed by a passing car or truck.  You don’t have to worry about your furry friend getting into the neighborhood yards and causing mischief that annoys your neighbors.  And it’s great that it prevents your puppy from running off and escaping your yard until you have the time to enclosure your property properly with solid fences.  It’s also great that it keeps other animals away from your puppy and your puppy away from them.

When you travel with your pets, make sure you have a puppy pen that is portable and easy to store.  They can come in a variety of models and sizes.  You can easy find them online.
