Are you someone who likes to get out and shoot at people with a paintball gun? If so, then you need to pay attention to learn more about the gun and the gear that goes along with it.

Since there is a good supply of quality gear, players are relaxed and play much better. If you are confident, you will be running around more and so will everyone else. The more active the game, the more interesting it will be. Injuries will not be so frequent and the whole experience will be that much more enjoyable for you. Good gear gives you the best protection against common injuries that occur during a match. As they are lessened by better gear, the matches become a much more pleasurable experience for all.
There is really a lot of gear you need to be able to play this sport. Sometimes you can get a whole package that has everything with it including protective gear. But, if you have to watch your money, you may want to just rent some gear from the field. Paintball shops sometimes rent out gear by the hour. If you really do not have any money, try to borrow the gear from someone you know. This is a good way to still be able to participate.
It is vital that you wear a face mask during the game. Do not let the cost keep you from wearing protection for your face. You have to protect your brain and life. It is not even worth going out there if you are taking a big chance of getting hurt by not wearing proper gear. You will need goggles as well if you do not have them in the mask. Paintballs have a high velocity and can ruin your eyesight for life if you do not have proper eye protection.
