Circle lenses

Circle lenses are contact lenses that make the colored part of your eye, the iris, appear larger by covering the iris and the surrounding white part.  Most recently, Lady Gaga sported this big eye look in her video Bad Romance.  By using circle lenses, you can get this look too.  Circle lenses come a variety of colors, perhaps more than the options of colors in regular contact lenses.  For example, you can get more unusual colors of purple and pink.  A lot of these circle lenses are shipped from Asia from sites like pinkyparadise.com.  In order to buy them in the United States, you need to have a prescription to buy cosmetic or corrective lenses.  Most people go online to buy these lenses because it’s very easy to pick out your brand, color, and strength (if needed for eye correction).

Women, especially teenagers and women in their young 20s, have been raving about them.  Many circle lenses wearers proudly display their larger than life eyes on their facebook pages and through youtube.  It may be considered one of the hottest trends to accentuate your eyes.

It’s very important to treat circle lenses like any other form of contact lenses.  You need to keep them properly cleaned and not wear them too long.  A common problem seen among cirlce lenses wears is eye irritation.  If you wear ill-fitting circle lenses too long then your eyes will start to suffer from a lack of oxygen.  Your eyes need to breathe and if the oxygen supply gets cut off, you start to develop vision problems.  Common sense should be used when wearing circle lenses:  Keep them clean, and only wear them for a few hours a day at most.  Also, there is an expiration date on the circle lenses bottle.  At the longest, you should follow that date and through them away and buy a new pair.  On the safe side, you should buy a new pair after 3 or 6 months of usage.
