Contrary to popular beliefs, blackheads are not caused by dirt. Actually, they occur because of excessive
oil on your face. Because of the presence of too much oil, the pores are blocked and oxidized. Since hair
follicles are blocked, black hue appears. In reality, blackheads are not black in color but yellow-brown.
To remove excess oil, just wash your face regularly. Whiteheads is the same as blackheads only those
whiteheads have no opening on the skin’s surface. They appear white because air cannot reach it so it
does not oxidize.

Getting rid of acne is not that hard. Just remember that it is not true that squeezing your pimple will remove your blackheads. Indeed, they will be removed but will leave a scar. Since prevention is better
than cure, try the following preventive measures to minimize the chance of having scars.

Never apply harsh products in your face. When face is irritated, oils are naturally produced. Instead of
applying products in your face to prevent acne, it is better to use washcloth. Boil it and let it cool down.
Wipe your face gently with the cloth or leave it to your face for about 15-25 minutes. This will loosen
dead skins and dirt.

To remove the white spots, slide your finger nails across the spot. This will make one side of the spot
to get deeper while the other side gets higher. This will make the spot burst. Keep doing it until all has
been removed if you have a red spot on top of it. Do this until only the blood is coming out. This time,
the zits are gone.

Note that you should not do this if you have hemophilia. Clean your face thoroughly to avoid further
infecting other areas. Do not pop your zits, it has no good effect. If still, the above mentioned do not
work then try other commercial products.
