Merial’s Frontline Plus for Canines
Categorized: pets | 2 comments
Most people today have more than a single dog at home. It seems that there is a growing number of individuals who wants to own two or more dogs. These animals are truly man’s best friend. However, we all lose our patients once we see them scratching like crazy and suffering from a flea parasitic infestation. This is very annoying. Aside from that, it is contagious and spreads like wildfire. Once one of your dogs gets infected, after a day or two, all of your pets at home will also have the same parasitic infestation too. That’s how hard it is to control.
Not so long ago, people use shampoos and powders with anti-flea ingredients. However, the shampoos are not effective at all. It will just give you more headaches. As for the powder, at times, it may be effective. But the application is such a big hassle. For the first few applications, there will seem to be no problems. However, after a few more, you might observe that your nasal and oral mucosa are irritated, which is of course caused by the powder. Thus, shampoos and powders should be out of the picture.
We recommend that you apply the newest drug from Merial, the Frontline for Dogs. Merial is the same company that brought us the Heartgard Plus and Ivomec. Without a doubt, the Frontline Plus is another quality drug that will give us promising ad unfailing results. It is still a topical solution, which basically means that all you have to do is to apply it on the animal’s skin, particularly in the nape. It is waterproof, leaving you worry free as they bathe and soak themselves with water.
Any dog can receive or can be applied with the best price Frontline. The only restriction is the age. Dogs can start using the Frontline once they reach the age of 8 weeks old. It is even advised that the treatment should start early, even to those who are not yet infected. It can be a pretty effective prophylaxis treatment.

I use Frontline for both my cat and my dogs, and none of them have had fleas for as long as I have been using the product.
