5. Minimize your animal meat intake. The amount of protein needed by a human is far less than what the average person eats.

6. Minimize your dairy intake. Dairy is one of the leading causes of high cholesterol and weight gain. There are plenty of vegetable based dairy substitutes on the market that can help you lose weight but still keep our diet delicious and interesting.

7. Eat plenty of fresh fruits.

8. Eat more fresh vegetables, especially dark leafy greens. My favorite is kale sauteed lightly with a little olive oil, garlic, and salt. Yum!

9. Try to eat 4 – 5 small meals a day instead of 2-3 large ones. This makes it easier for your body to digest the food and you will have more energy.

10. Be creative with your cooking!

Adding In Fitness Training

It isn’t necessary to have expensive fitness equipment or a gym membership to exercise.

1. Start running.

2. Buy a yoga mat.

3. Do 50-100 crunches/sit ups every day.

4. Do 50-100 squats every day.

5. Do push ups.

6. Do cardio calisthenics: jumping jacks, jump rope, burpees.

7. Do early morning cardio to flatten that tummy!

8. Join a dance class.

9. Have fun!

Weight loss is as easy as long as you are willing to commit. Diet plans must be healthy and balanced. Also, your fitness training must be consistent and some what challenging. But remember you don’t need expensive gym memberships or fitness equipment to work out at home!
