Being a nanny goes beyond the job of caring for children since this may sometimes involve developing really strong bonds with kids and parents. Nannies are mainly considered as cheap or affordable alternatives to childcare or daycare facilities however; this mainly depends on the payment provided for and the number of kids to be taken care of. The major task of a nanny would be to offer safe and satisfactory child care. Doing so involves a wide array of tasks such as providing kids with the guidance that they need in doing homework and school projects as well as assisting them in performing different extracurricular activities.

The number of hours required of a nanny can range from 8 hours to 12 hours per day depending on the needs and preferences of a family. In addition to assisting kids with school work, nannies are also given other tasks like cleaning and cooking responsibilities. These require them to prepare different tasty and healthy meals that will allow children to grow and develop well physically. Cleaning tasks on the other hand, involve doing the laundry and tidying up the different rooms of the family’s house.
